Grimm Forest was the original name for Grimmwood.

Big Moustache Games announced their decision to rename Grimm Forest on March 19, 2018 because the final product didn't turn out to be as strict to the Brother's Grimm folklore as originally intended. The other very significant reason was that a board game with the title Grimm Forest was published after the Kickstarter campaing of Grimmwood, but before its release.
